Dog walking & pet visiting services

My main service is dog walking in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding villages, but I also provide a pet visiting service in the same areas, and can travel further afield if need be. Bookings can be on a regular or ad hoc basis.

Initial Meeting

It takes trust for a dog owner to leave their precious, beloved pooch in the care of a new person. So when I meet ayou for the first time, I always make time to ensure you know a bit about me, and I make sure to fully understand your specific instructions as to how to look after your dog. I can also provide you with copies of my documentation, including proof of insurance, DBS check, and first aid certification, all for for your complete peace of mind.

It's also important for making sure I know as much as possible about your dog's home environment, individual personality and unique set of requirements. And it's just as important to meet, get to know and make friends with your dog before going for walkies with them, just so I know how they need to be treated and how they are likely to behave out on walkies.

Walking Locations

Dogs are always walked in quiet and pleasant areas like parks and countryside close to home, or in specific locations your dog may already be familiar and comfortable with.

Bookings are available in slots of 30 and 60 mins, starting and finishing at times that best suit your schedule. Times do not include the collection and return of your dog.

Dogs are always walked on a lead unless the customer specifies otherwise, or they are in a fenced area where it is safe for them to run off-leash. For safety reasons I generally limit group walks to a maximum of four dogs, but special arrangements can be made if the dogs involved all know each other or are from the same household.

Pet Visiting

If your pet just needs a bit of care and attention in the comfort of their own home during the day while you're out, then I can help. Once I've introduced myself to you and you're happy to allow me access to your home at set times, I can then pay your pet a visit regular, check they're ok, feed and water them, give them belly rubs, a quick play around in the garden, or whatever other requirements you may have.
